You may use Sidera Learning to:
- Support your family's homeschool education
- Track student learning progress and achievements
- Access AI-powered tutoring for educational purposes
- Generate compliance documentation for homeschool requirements
- Manage multiple students within your family account
3. Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
3.1 Harmful Content
- Upload, transmit, or generate content that is illegal, harmful, or abusive
- Attempt to bypass content safety filters
- Use the Service to create or distribute harmful content to minors
- Share content that promotes violence, discrimination, or harassment
3.2 Security Violations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
- Share login credentials with others outside your family
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
- Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
3.3 Misrepresentation
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Provide false information during registration
- Misrepresent your relationship to students in your account
- Create accounts for users outside your authorized family
3.4 Inappropriate Data Handling
- Upload sensitive personal information (Social Security numbers, medical records, financial account details)
- Share other people's personal information without consent
- Use the Service to collect data about other users
3.5 Commercial Misuse
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Use the Service for commercial tutoring outside your family
- Advertise products or services through the platform
4. AI Interaction Guidelines
When interacting with our AI tutoring system:
- Use the AI for legitimate educational purposes only
- Do not attempt to manipulate the AI to produce inappropriate content
- Understand that AI responses may not always be accurate
- Report any concerning AI behavior to our support team
- Do not share personal or sensitive information in voice recordings
5. Account Responsibility
As the parent/guardian account owner, you are responsible for:
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring students use the Service appropriately
- Supervising younger children's interactions as appropriate
- Maintaining the security of your login credentials
- Keeping your account information up to date
6. Resource Usage
To ensure fair access for all users:
- AI tutoring calls are subject to plan limits (see your subscription details)
- Excessive automated requests may be rate-limited
- Storage of educational content is subject to reasonable limits
7. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning and request to cease the prohibited activity
- Temporary suspension of account access
- Permanent termination of your account
- Legal action in serious cases
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action at our discretion.
